Brian Sturgulewski  is a founding partner of The Dogma Group. He holds a Master Degree from the University of Southern California in film with a focus on concept and story development.  After six years in Los Angeles working in film production and development, he returned to his hometown and hospitality. Prior to forming DOGMA, Brian created beverage programs at FULTON MARKET KITCHEN, an art-driven restaurant and bar named the “Coolest-Looking Bar in Chicago” (Chicago Magazine), BLACK BULL Bar De Tapas, which currently has the largest sherry program in Chicago, and BORDEL, a hidden cocktail bar named “One of the Hottest Bars in Chicago” (Zagat.)


Brian is an alumni of the C.A.P. program at Tales of the Cocktail. He was a member of the winning team for the inaugural BACARDI BAR BUILD CHALLENGE.  He was a national finalist for the CAMPARI BEST APPERTIVO contest and BACARDI LEGACY, one of the largest bartending competitions in the world.  In 2014, Brian was voted one of the BEST BARTENDERS IN CHICAGO (REDEYE/TRIBUNE.)
