The Dogma Group is a hospitality and beverage consulting firm that specializes in developing unique concepts, event planning and building  a culture for brands, bars and restaurants.


Concept gives direction and makes or breaks your project. A well-defined, drilled down concept can:

Great brands, bars and restaurants  possess their own unique culture.  They have disciples not customers; allies not employees.  Recognizing a culture is easy – creating and maintaining one is difficult.

Alex Renshaw is a founding partner of The Dogma Group.  He graduated from Miami University (OH) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.  Alex worked for four years managing multiple sales teams for Frito Lay in Cincinnati, OH and worked in multiple bars on the side.



A Texas native and long time veteran (“og”) of the Chicago restaurant scene Clint has run beverage programs and or managed locales such as Nightwood, Graham Elliot, Henri, The Gage and The Dawson (for whom he still consults).



Brian Sturgulewski is a founding partner of The Dogma Group. He holds a Master Degree from the University of Southern California in film with a focus on concept and story development. After six years in Los Angeles working in film production and development, he returned to his hometown and hospitality.


Kristina Magro - Liaison

Kristina started behind the bar at 20 in her home town of Channahon, Illinois.  Seeking more knowledge, she moved to Chicago and began working for the Chicago Cut Steak House LLC and managing the bar for one of their properties, The Local Chicago.


Marissa Huth - Liaison

Marissa is originally from Indianapolis and has currently immersed in the world of craft cocktails and hospitality.
